PCMultiApp – Privacy Policy (Website + App)

Last updated: 26 February 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PCMultiApp (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use the PCMultiApp Windows app and/or the PCMultiApp website. It is written for global users and aims to be clear about what we do and do not collect.

1) Who we are (Data Controller)

PCMultiApp is the controller for personal data we process for our own purposes (for example, website security logs and support emails).

Location: United Kingdom
Contact: pcmultiapp@proton.me

(If you operate under a registered business name/address, add it here.)

2) Key points (plain-English summary)

  • No app telemetry: PCMultiApp does not send us telemetry from the installed app.
  • Local storage only: The app stores settings and content locally on your device.
  • Third parties: Some features rely on third parties (notably YouTube/Google, and infrastructure providers like hosting/CDN/storage). Those providers may collect technical data under their own policies.
  • No selling: We do not sell personal information.

3) Information we collect via the website

a) Basic server and security logs

When you visit our website, our hosting/delivery providers may process standard technical logs, which can include: IP address, date/time of request, pages/files requested, device/browser information (user-agent), and basic request metadata (for example referrer and status codes).

Purpose: security, fraud prevention, reliability, and operating the website.
Legal basis (where applicable): legitimate interests (security and operations).

b) If you contact us

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide (for example your email address, message content, and attachments).

Purpose: to respond, provide support, and handle requests (including removal or legal/privacy requests).
Legal basis (where applicable): legitimate interests and/or taking steps at your request.

4) Information stored locally by the app (on your device)

PCMultiApp saves settings and app data locally on your Windows PC (for example configuration files, lists, playlists, indexes, caches, and backups you choose to create).

We do not automatically receive this local data from your device. We will only see local data if you choose to send it to us (for example, by emailing a file for support).

5) Downloads and in-app content updates (Cloudflare R2/CDN logs)

PCMultiApp may be downloaded from, and may periodically fetch files from, our storage/delivery providers (for example Cloudflare R2/CDN). When your device requests these files, the provider typically generates standard request logs such as IP address, date/time, the file requested, and device/browser information (user-agent).

How we use this: security, reliability, and aggregated operational metrics (for example download counts and bandwidth).
Important: PCMultiApp does not intentionally create or transmit a unique identifier for these requests.

6) Third-party services and links (including YouTube)

a) YouTube / Google (in-app YouTube player)

When you use PCMultiApp’s YouTube features, content is provided by YouTube/Google and they may collect information such as your IP address, device details, and activity related to playback and interactions, in accordance with their terms and privacy policies.

PCMultiApp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

b) External links

Some in-app items may open links in your default web browser. Once you leave the app, the destination website’s terms and privacy practices apply.

7) Cookies and similar technologies (website)

Our website (and the platforms/plugins it uses) may use cookies or similar technologies that are essential (site functionality, security, admin login where applicable) or preference-related (remembering settings).

We do not intend to use marketing cookies for targeted advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, provide a consent/choice mechanism.

8) Sharing of information

We may share information with hosting/infrastructure providers (to run the website), storage/delivery providers (for downloads/updates), email provider(s) used to receive/respond to messages, and YouTube/Google when you use YouTube features. We may also share information with authorities/advisors if required to comply with law or protect rights/safety.

We do not sell personal information.

9) International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where required by law, transfers are protected using appropriate safeguards (for example contractual protections).

10) Data retention

  • Website and download/update logs: retained for a limited period as required for security and operations (often set by providers).
  • Support emails: kept as long as needed to respond and maintain reasonable support records, then deleted or anonymised where practical.
  • App local data: stored on your device until you remove it.

11) Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the website and our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12) Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection/restriction, and portability (where applicable). To exercise rights, contact pcmultiapp@proton.me.

If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). If you are elsewhere, you can contact your local data protection authority (if applicable).

US / California notice: We collect limited identifiers such as IP address and device/browser information in website and download/update logs, and information you provide if you contact us. We use this only for security, reliability, and responding to requests. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

13) Children

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us via the website, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to remove it.

14) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent changes.
