PCMultiAPP
PCMultiAPP began as a faster, more efficient way for desktop users to discover, organise and watch online video. It has evolved into a configurable media platform that creators and publishers can make their own.
One Engine. Many Branded Experiences.
The application engine is separated from much of its content and menu structure. Categories, featured channels, feeds and destinations can be changed through configuration rather than rebuilding the entire product.
This creates the potential for one shared technology platform to power multiple editions, each with its own identity, audience and commercial model.
Creator Edition A branded desktop experience built around an individual creator and their wider content ecosystem.
Publisher Edition A white-label platform containing curated video, news, community links, commerce and partner content.
Built-In Commerce Infrastructure
This app collects YouTube channels & helps promote them, and gives YT channels a home on end users desktops, including all their merch etc, not buried in a browser or at the whim of the YT algo. Which is why they might want to cross promote, i.e. they are technically promoting their own channel inside our APP. So the APP collects eyeballs, it doesn’t compete on YT for them. The first YouTube channel to join, has over 310k+ subs, so this is proof it can scale.
The underlying platform can connect discovery, content, creators and commerce within the same desktop environment. Plus all the usual options — donations, in-app advertising and some other already built ideas that can be added to the platform.
Three Complementary Business Models
Creator Network
Participating creators gain additional discovery through curated categories and voluntary cross-promotion inside the main PCMultiAPP ecosystem.
White-Label Licensing
Creators, publishers and media brands can operate a customised edition using their own name, visual identity, content and commercial links.
Platform Revenue
Revenue can potentially come from licensing, revenue-sharing partnerships, affiliate commerce, sponsorships and future premium functionality.
Why It Matters
Creators currently build audiences on platforms they do not control. Their viewers are surrounded by competing recommendations, browser clutter and algorithms that determine what appears next.
A branded desktop application gives a creator or publisher a direct destination for their audience while still working with existing video platforms rather than attempting to replace them.
Why PCMultiAPP Is Different
The core technology already includes integrated playback, channel organisation, drag-and-drop workflows, curated menus, video grids, news feeds, search tools and commerce links inside a unified Windows desktop experience.
Much of the difficult engineering work is already operational. The next stage is to validate demand, formalise the configurable branding layer and prove the model through selected creator or publisher partnerships.
One of the main questions an investor needs answered is: how do we get PCMultiAPP out there and noticed? One of the routes is YouTube cross-promotion.
It is building the desktop platform that creators and publishers can make their own.
This is all our own code, no GPL is involved, all legal compliances have been checked + all relevant licences are included.
This APP does not collect personal data (legal minefield), so how can ads be targeted. So for e.g., if we feature 10 gardening channels in the gardening section, then the APP can supply targeted ads to that section, we can add as many sections as we want, I’m sure you get the point. This app can of course also at some point go multilingual / regional etc. In effect, Anything can be pushed to end users who install it.
The currency of the future & now, is how many eyeballs & how much engagement can you acquire, this APP set’s out to solve those problems, in a rather unique way! It provides a useful set of tools, that desktop users should want to keep around. Our entire design philosophy, has been 1 or 2 clicks to everything.
